Self-flushing: The medium delivered by the pump itself is driven into the sealed cavity through the small hole on the end face seal gland. Mixing with the medium in the pump is called self-flushing. Self-flushing pumps can be used. The medium to be transported is generally low in temperature (<100°C), and the medium is relatively clean, usually light oil or water. A popular explanation is that the self-flushing of the machine pump cannot be used for liquids with high temperature and high viscosity, because such liquids entering the inside of the machine pump will damage the machine pump, and the viscosity will cause the liquid to enter the inside and it is difficult to come out.
通常有四个lf-flushing effects:
1, Flushing impurities between the friction between the moving ring and the static ring;
2, Lubrication, keeping a layer of liquid film between the end faces of the seal for lubrication;
3, Cooling effect: take away the heat generated by friction between the moving ring and the static ring during working hours, reduce the temperature of the sealing element, and extend the service life of the seal;
4, Sealing function: to prevent the air outside the pump from leaking into the pump to play a sealing role.
