Instructions for use of sand pump

1. Start; check the whole unit according to the following steps before starting. ⑴ The pump should be placed on a firm foundation to bear the full weight of the pump, eliminate vibration, and tighten all anchor bolts. ⑵ The pipeline valve should have its own support frame, and the support should be firm. There are sealing points at the flange of the pump. When tightening the connecting bolts, pay attention to not too tight to avoid damage to the sealing points. ⑶ Rotate the shaft in the direction of pump rotation by hand. When the shaft rotates, there should be no friction, otherwise, adjust the impeller clearance. ⑷Check the rotation of the motor and ensure that the pump rotates in the direction of the arrow marked on the pump body. Reversal is absolutely prohibited. ⑸ In direct drive, the pump shaft and the motor shaft should be accurately aligned, and the pump shaft and motor shaft should be parallel when the belt is driven, and the position of the groove wheel should be adjusted to be perpendicular to the groove belt to avoid severe vibration and wear. ⑹Shaft seal inspection: check the water volume of the shaft seal, whether the water pressure is appropriate, adjust the packing gland compression screw to adjust the tightness of the packing, adjust the shaft seal water, and see the leakage from the packing gland. If the packing is too tight, the shaft sleeve is easy to generate heat and consumes power. If the packing is too loose, the amount of liquid leakage is too large. The shaft seal water pressure is generally 35KPa higher than the pump outlet pressure, and the shaft seal water volume is generally recommended to be 0.15L/S-2.1L/S according to different models. For pumps equipped with mechanical seals, the shaft seal water must be connected before starting the pump.
