The basic working theory

Installation

When the power of the pump is too large, in order to facilitate transportation, the motor and base may be separately packed. At this time, the user is required to install and calibrate by himself. The method is as follows:

a. Clean the dirt on the supporting plane of the base, the plane and the motor foot, and put the water pump and the motor on the base.

b. Adjust the shaft level, tighten the nuts properly after leveling it to prevent moving.

c. Lift the motor, make the coupling and motor coupling cooperate, and locate the motor to the corresponding position.

d. Adjust the clearance between the two couplings to about 5mm, and correct whether the axis lines of the motor shaft. The method is to place the flat ruler on the coupling, and the outer circles of the two couplings are flush with the flat ruler. If they do not coincide, just adjust the relative positions of the motor or the pump.

e. In order to check the installation accuracy, the clearance between the two coupling planes shall be measured with feeler gauge at several different positions on the circumference of the coupling. The difference between the maximum and minimum clearance on the coupling plane one week shall not exceed 0.3mm. The difference between the lower or left and right center lines at both ends shall not exceed 0.1mm.
