Submersible Transfer Pump

Due to the long-term operation under water, the working environment of the submersible transfer pump is more complex than that of the general horizontal centrifugal pump, so the sealing requirements of the pump are extremely strict. When the submersible transfer pump works, due to the pressure difference, the liquid pumped by the pump should flow into the oil chamber and the motor cavity along the gap between the shaft and the shell. The function of the mechanical seal is to prevent the liquid from annoying leakage, so as to protect the motor.

The mechanical seal with double end faces is commonly used in submersible transfer pump. Under the action of the combined force caused by the fluid pressure (medium pressure) and the elasticity of the elastic element, a proper specific pressure (compression force) is generated on the end face of the seal ring, which makes the two contact end faces (moving ring and static ring end faces) closely fit each other, and maintains a very thin liquid film in the very small gap between the two end faces So as to achieve the purpose of sealing.
