Installation

1. The installation height of the suction port shall not exceed 5m as far as possible. Special attention shall be paid to the tightness of the suction pipeline to avoid air leakage affecting the self-priming capacity and normal operation.

2. A section of vertical pipe (generally 0.41m) and pressure gauge shall be installed at the outlet, and then the outlet flow control valve and other pipes shall be installed.

3. The length and diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes should be reasonably arranged to reduce the unnecessary head loss along the way. (refer to the straight pipe friction loss table for estimation)

4. Large pipe diameter shall be selected for long-distance transportation. The pipeline shall have bracket, and the pump body itself is not allowed to bear the load of the pipeline.

5. If the discharge pipeline is equipped with a check valve, it shall be installed outside the outlet flow control valve.
