(1) Adjustment of the clearance of the slurry pump impeller

For the adjustment of the clearance between the inlet of the slurry pump impeller and the guard plate or the pump casing, the inlet clearance of the slurry pump has been adjusted when the pump leaves the factory, but after a period of use, the liquid in the pump casing is in the high pressure area, and the inlet of the pump is The low pressure area causes the liquid in the pump to leak to the impeller inlet through the impeller inlet gap, which will inevitably cause the impeller and the guard plate or the volute seal section to wear and increase the gap. The decrease and increase of the gap have a greater impact on the water flow rate. The flow rate is proportional to the wear of the impeller and the guard plate inlet. The size of the impeller inlet gap determines the sealing effect in the pump cavity. Because the slurry pump has a certain amount of axial movement during operation, the clearance cannot be infinitely small. It should be close to the minimum value according to the assembly requirements of the slurry pump. The operating current of the pump should be regularly observed during operation. Under the condition that the slurry concentration is constant, the normal flow must be met by opening the large gate, indicating that the inlet gap of the pump has increased, and the regular adjustment rule can be found out in time through actual production.

(2) Adjustment and repair

Adjust and repair some unevenly worn parts to extend the service life of parts. The water inlet of the pump has a low flow rate, and the material at the inlet is in a state of sliding and discontinuous pulsating motion, causing the pump's water inlet sub and the bottom of the front liner to wear faster than the middle and upper parts, and the speed of wear is related to the concentration of the slurry. Regarding the medium, rotate the position in time (generally 120°) according to the actual situation on site to ensure uniform wear of all parts.

(3) Application of wear-resistant adhesive

The slurry is pressurized by the impeller and converges in the volute and enters the discharge pipe of the pump from the septum of the volute. The particles in the fluid collide and wash at the septum, making the septum of the volute relative to other parts of the volute. Faster wear occurs. As the gap between the tongues is enlarged to a certain width, vortexes will be generated there, which will cause the tongues to appear honeycomb. Not only reduces the efficiency of the pump, but also accelerates the wear of the diaphragm and reduces the service life of the volute. After the separation tongue appears honeycomb, timely repair with wear-resistant adhesive can restore the efficiency of the pump
