1. Inspection before operation

Water pump accidents occur the most frequently in the early stages of device production and operation, and the installation quality directly affects the operating condition of the pump. Therefore, special care should be taken to inspect during trial operation.

Most accidents related to water pump installation, except for inaccurate alignment between the driver and pump, are due to improper configuration of the suction pipe. The suction pipeline requires straightness and shortening, and long pipelines must be enlarged in diameter to reduce pipeline friction resistance. And it is necessary to avoid the occurrence of localized airbags in high areas that may lead to accidents. Therefore, an eccentric reducer with a flat upper part should be used; Before connecting the pipeline with the water pump, a filter screen (with a mesh of about 40 mesh) should be installed on the pipeline, and its net area should be 3-4 times the flow cross-section of the suction pipe. Install a pressure gauge before and after the filter screen to monitor the blockage of the filter screen during operation; Each bracket of the pipeline should fully play its role, and the pipeline should undergo pressure testing. The water testing pressure should be 1.5 times the operating pressure, without leakage or leakage.

Check whether the water pump foundation is firm, whether the bolts and nuts are loose, and whether they can withstand the deflection and impact generated during operation. Check whether the pump components and accessories are complete, and whether the installation and adjustment comply with regulations.

2. Preparation for operation

1). Turning gear;

3). Adjust the packing or mechanical sealing device. Connect water and liquid to the cooling and sealing systems in the cooling water jacket and sealing device respectively, and confirm that the flow channel is unobstructed;

4). Add lubricating oil and grease to the oil tank and lubrication parts, and select qualified lubricating grease to reach the appropriate oil level and grease amount;

5). Filling pump;

6). Preheating or precooling is necessary for high-temperature and low-temperature pumps.
